In this very insightful and humorous video, Gurumaa says that a cool-headed person cannot lose his temper and act in rage – whatsoever the situation might be. Similarly a hot-headed person cannot stay calm and composed even in a very cool and serene situation. It all depends on the state of our mind – whether it is calm, balanced and composed, or it is in a state of imbalance, anxiety and restlessness.
Gurumaa suggests some wonderful meditation techniques such as Tratak, mantra chanting and yoga nidra; yoga asanas such as surya namaskar; pranayam techniques such as nadi shodhana and devotional meditations such as kirtan and group mantra chanting to balance the inner chakras and bring the mind to a calm, composed and relaxed state.
By the practice of these techniques, one can easily overcome all mental complexities, anxiety and aggressive behavior. Once the mind gets in a state of natural ease and balance, the inner bliss and happiness arises automatically.
